Thank you so much for sharing the journey with us! I’m nearly in the same boat- I’m rewriting my first draft of my romantasy from third person to first, and it is not easy, lol. Hopefully I can get published someday- you’re such a role model for me, Labubus and all!
I’ve been so curious about how one would go about such a thorough rewrite, so thanks for sharing your process! It was so interesting to read through your journey. Can’t wait to read the final product☺️
I'd stand on my head and whistle Dixie if the industry asked, but I hope no one asks for a change of POV. I just did this to a short story, and it was brutal.
Thank you so much for sharing! I love that your rewrite journey shares realistic steps with room for wollowing and self doubt 😅 I'm in a similar position with feedback I just got back from my agent so I'm still in the wallowing phase, but now I have direction on what my next step is!!
Augh, I'm so sorry!! But truly, once you're through the wallowing stage you can start seeing it for the opportunity it is and you can start having a bit of fun with it!
Congrats on the rewrite!! And I’ll go check out your friends social media newsletter!

I am so curious about this next book! I loved Passenger, and Silver In The Bone was right up my alley with the Arthurian vibe
What is it about Labubus that makes them feel like part of the family? I love my little rascal!
They are mischievous but good-natured creatures!!! We need more of those in our family lines 😂
Haha! Exactly!

Yes! It's way more intense than just swapping pronouns, which is hard to explain unless you've attempted it!
